Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Service. By creating an account or continuing to use the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

TERMS OF USE

1) THE SERVICE
W.W.J.D. Chat provides Bible-centered games, study tools, and AI-generated conversations. AI responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent with Scripture or your faith tradition. Review important answers against the Bible and with a trusted parent, pastor, teacher, or other qualified person.

The AI is not Jesus, a biblical figure, a saint, God, a prophet, or a source of revelation. Character conversations are educational simulations based on source material and prompts.

2) AGE ELIGIBILITY
Interactive features, including chat, profiles, and accounts, are for people age 13 or older. Visitors ages 13 through 17 may use them only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Visitors under 13 may browse public pages but may not use interactive features or submit personal information.

We use an age screen before interactive features. Birth month and year are evaluated on the visitor's device and are not sent to us or retained; only the eligibility result is stored on that device. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

3) SAFETY AND PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
The Service does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, pastoral, or other professional advice and is not an emergency or crisis service. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988 for suicide and crisis support.

4) YOUR CONTENT
You are responsible for messages, profile information, preferences, and other content you submit. Do not submit government identifiers, financial account details, medical records, precise location, passwords, confidential information, or personal information about another person without permission.

You give us and our service providers a limited, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, process, format, and display your content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. You retain any rights you otherwise have in your content.

5) ACCEPTABLE USE
Do not use the Service to break the law; harm, exploit, threaten, harass, or deceive anyone; impersonate another person; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; seek sexual content involving minors; bypass safety controls; access another user's data; scrape the Service; introduce malware; or disrupt the Service. We may filter content and suspend or terminate access to protect users or enforce these Terms.

6) PRIVACY AND SERVICE PROVIDERS
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, where it is processed, how long we keep it, and how to request deletion. The Service relies on providers including Amazon Web Services, OpenAI, Google Analytics, and Meta. Optional analytics and advertising technologies load only after the visitor chooses them in cookie preferences.

7) THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Third-party links and services are controlled by their operators, not by W.W.J.D. Chat.

8) INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Service's software, branding, interface, and original materials belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, family, educational, church, or ministry purposes in accordance with these Terms. Scripture translations and third-party materials remain subject to their owners' rights.

9) DISCLAIMERS
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.

10) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOST DATA, LOST PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS OR USD $100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

11) CHANGES AND TERMINATION
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these Terms. Material revisions will be identified by a new Last Updated date. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that logically survive termination will remain effective.

12) GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local law requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, contact us and allow 30 days for an informal resolution.
