Explore the Bible with A.I. — Stories, Themes, and Questions
Use this page to explore the Bible with AI in a way that’s family-safe, respectful, and easy to understand. Ask about a passage, a person, a big theme (like forgiveness or prayer), or even a question you’ve wondered about for a long time. You’ll get clear explanations and (when helpful) Scripture references so you can read the text for yourself.
This is not a replacement for reading Scripture, attending church, or learning from trusted teachers. Think of it as a curious study companion: it helps you notice context, connect ideas, and ask good follow-up questions—so your own Bible reading becomes clearer and more engaging.
Not sure where to start? Try a simple prompt like: “Suggest a passage to explore”, or ask something specific like “What is the Sermon on the Mount about?”, or “Why is Romans 8 so encouraging?”
What you can explore here
This mode works best when you’re exploring one of four things: a passage, a person, a theme, or a question. You can keep it light and curious—or go deeper with context and connections across the Bible.
Pick a chapter or section (like John 15, Psalm 23, or Luke 15). Ask what it means, what’s happening, why it mattered to the original audience, and what it might mean today.
Example: “Explain John 15 like I’m new to the Bible—what does ‘abide’ mean?”
Ask about someone’s story, strengths, weaknesses, and key moments. This is great for kids and families, because stories stick in your memory.
Example: “What can we learn from Ruth’s choices?”
Themes include prayer, wisdom, fear, forgiveness, friendship, generosity, justice, faith, doubt, and hope. You can ask for a short “map” of verses to explore and a simple explanation of how the Bible talks about it.
Example: “What does the Bible teach about anxiety and peace?”
Bring any honest question—especially ones you’ve been afraid to ask. This mode aims to respond kindly, clearly, and without shame.
Example: “Why do Christians trust the Bible?”
Helpful prompts to try
- “Suggest a passage to explore about hope.”
- “Give me the backstory for Psalm 23 (if any) and what it means.”
- “Summarize the story of Joseph and what lessons people learn from it.”
- “Explain the parable of the prodigal son in simple words.”
- “What is one chapter a new believer should read this week?”
Tips for families and kids
For family nights, pick a short story and ask the AI to explain it in a kid-friendly way, then read the passage together. After that, ask 2–3 simple questions: “What surprised you?”, “What did you learn about God?”, and “How could we live this out this week?” Keeping it light and consistent is better than trying to do a huge study all at once.
