Temple Builder: Stock / Level / Stations
Example practice round

Temple Builder

Build a three-station symbolic structure by merging material tiles and matching clues from 1 Kings 6–7.

Choose two tiles of the same material and level to merge them. Level 1 + 1 makes level 2; level 2 + 2 makes level 3. Select a merged tile, then place it at a station with the same level and the passage-supported material. Complete three stations in eight moves for 1000 points. A wrong material loses immediately; the ninth move ends the round. No timer.

1 Kings 6:7 describes stone prepared at the quarry; 6:9 mentions cedar beams and planks; 6:21 describes gold overlay; 7:15 and 7:21 identify bronze entrance pillars. The three stations, levels, merges, and layout are invented puzzle rules, not historical temple dimensions or worship practice.

The passage clues decide which material belongs at each station: prepared stone (1 Kings 6:7), cedar roof (6:9), gold interior (6:21), and bronze entrance pillars (7:15, 21). A perfect first daily round earns the badge; practice does not.
